Water-soluble paper labels are made from water-soluble paper combined with water-soluble adhesive. Their key characteristic is: dissolves in water, leaves no residue, and is fully flushable.

When exposed to water (especially hot or alkaline water), the paper rapidly breaks down into pulp-like fragments, while the adhesive loses its tack and detaches from the substrate. The entire process leaves no microplastics or sticky residue and is completely biodegradable.
