Flexography, flexographic printing, or flexo printing is a method that uses flexible rubber plates and quick-drying liquid inks. Used for medium and large print runs.
Advantages of flexography in label printing:
Maximum number of printed materials, including easily squeezable and non-absorbent, extra thin and thick up to 0.6 mm. The use of odorless paints fixed on materials with the help of UV irradiation. High circulation stability of flexo forms - several million. Thanks to a simple linear sectional device, it is possible to equip all sections of additional processing, which allows printing and post-printing processing of any complexity in a single technological cycle in one run.
Flexo printing parameters:
color - printing in 8 colors with lineature 175-200 lpi;
additional features: flexography on the adhesive layer, on the back of the substrate, rotary screen printing with UV curing inks. Perforation, cold foil stamping, UV lamination, selective and continuous UV varnishing are possible;
maximum print format size - 350x596 mm;
the possibility of manufacturing a die-cutting die of any configuration with a size corresponding to the format.
Materials:
Self-adhesive materials - full range.
The foil is laminated.
Materials with a twist effect: transparent, metallized.
Thermal paper.
Polypropylene BOPP: transparent, frosted, white, pearl, metallized.
Multilayer films, printing on other packaging materials.
Inks:
UV inks, full color palette.
Resistant to abrasion, moisture, exposure to light.
Non-hazardous for use in the food industry, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and perfume industries.
