How to deal with adhesive overflow of self-adhesive label die cutting? These methods should be known!
Die cutting glue overflow, usually refers to the phenomenon that the label edge overflows glue after the self-adhesive label is die cut.
Die cutting adhesive overflow is the most common problem of self-adhesive labels, which can easily lead to label appearance defects, printing pollution, poor peeling, etc.
Therefore, it is particularly important to recognize the causes of die cutting overflow and formulate corresponding solutions.
1. Properly select and use adhesive materials according to production process and environment
2. Processing and storage environment of adhesive labels
Too high temperature or humidity will improve the fluidity of the adhesive, greatly increasing the possibility of sticker overflow.
Therefore, the temperature in the workshop should be appropriate when producing self-adhesive labels in summer.
Generally speaking, the ambient temperature for label processing and storage should be controlled at 23 ℃± 3 ℃, and the relative humidity should be controlled at 55% ± 5%.
3. Quality control of self-adhesive label die cutting
When cutting self-adhesive labels, because the obtuse blade will extrude the label adhesive, resulting in glue overflow at the label edge during the die cutting process, a sharp knife must be used for die cutting.
4. Self adhesive label processing process control
In the process of adhesive label processing, the sliding friction of the label should be avoided, because it is easy to accumulate glue on the sliding friction parts, which will pollute the edge of the adhesive label.
In this case, the overflow position will show obvious regularity and directionality on the label.
5. Rewinding tension control of self-adhesive labels
Excessive rewinding tension will cause excessive extrusion of label adhesive, and even cause the label to slip on the backing paper, resulting in glue overflow.
